Robros Opens Preorders for Korea-Made Humanoid IGRIS-C

Robros is accepting preorders for the Korea-made humanoid robot IGRIS-C under development.

According to industry sources on the 1st, IGRIS-C is being developed at a compact size of 150 cm and 52 kg, designed to operate flexibly in narrow and complex environments.

It has a total of 31 degrees of freedom. A five-finger hand with 11 degrees of freedom is included by default. Maximum torque is 150 Nm, and it can lift 6 kg with both arms.

The robot features a low reduction ratio drive system and torque-based control, delivering high torque transmission and stable collaboration performance.

It responds softly to external forces for safety in collaborative environments, absorbing impacts smoothly in collisions or contact.

It plans to support high-difficulty motions such as running, jumping, backflips, and cartwheels, as well as autonomous movement and bimanual tasks using robot hands.

Strong joint torque enables posture control and motion performance, maintaining balance on complex terrain such as slopes and stairs.

With a low reduction ratio, motor output is transmitted more directly to joints, enabling fast response and smooth motion control.

IGRIS-C will begin customer deliveries this fall. The sale price is about 150 million won.

CEO Noh Seungjun said IGRIS-C is a general-purpose humanoid platform to lead the Physical AI era and will provide scalability from labs to real industrial environments.
