Featured on KBS 9 O’Clock News – Real-World Deployment in Logistics
On April 10, Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement hosted the Humanoid Real-World Challenge and unveiled the outcomes of the government-supported humanoid demonstration project for 2025.
The 1st-place team from Kwangwoon University conducted a real-world deployment at a Lotte Global Logistics distribution center, where they utilized ROBROs humanoid robot “IGRIS” to perform apparel packaging tasks.
This case is recognized as a representative example of humanoid robots executing repetitive tasks in an actual industrial environment. The project was also featured on KBS 9 News, further demonstrating both the real-world applicability of ROBROS’ technology and its growing visibility in the market.
