AI robot developer Robros introduced its humanoid robot IGRIS at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show.

CEO Noh Seungjun said labor shortages in service sectors are already severe and are expected to worsen due to low birth rates. He said humanoid robots can ease labor shortages and provide new customer experiences.

He said the second model will be released with improved market readiness. The showcased robot is an over-spec prototype, costly to produce and weighing 106 kg, and he said it will be refined into a form better suited for service sites.

Asked about differences with Tesla, Unitree, and Figure AI, Noh said each robot maker targets a different market.

He said just as cars have different models for different purposes, humanoids will evolve in forms suited to their application, and emphasized a focus on service-specialized humanoids.

On the reason for participating in the exhibition, he said mobility has expanded from a means of transport to a concept reflecting future lifestyles, and Robros wanted to show the role humanoids will play in daily life.

The Seoul Mobility Show runs until the 13th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1.
