ROBROS Wins Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Minister's Commendation at the '2026 M.AX Awards'
Develops humanoid technology in-house, from hardware to AI
Domestic humanoid company ROBROS announced on the 18th that it received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy at the '2026 M.AX Awards' held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 17th.
The event was organized in conjunction with the M.AX (Manufacturing AI Transformation) Alliance promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, to spotlight contributions to manufacturing artificial intelligence (AI) transformation and industrial innovation.
The M.AX Alliance is a public-private cooperation framework promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to accelerate AI transformation at manufacturing sites.

ROBROS is a full-stack company that develops core humanoid technologies such as hardware, control, and AI in-house. It is developing IGRIS-C, an industrial humanoid capable of performing tasks in industrial environments such as manufacturing and logistics, on its own.
The company is advancing IGRIS-C with a focus on tasks required at industrial sites, including object recognition and grasping, pick-and-place, and object transport. As of the end of August this year, a cumulative 36 units of IGRIS-C have been produced, with 18 units sold.
Seungjun Ro, CEO of ROBROS, said, "We are pleased that our efforts to build a humanoid that can be used at industrial sites have been recognized," adding, "We will further advance our technology and products so that Korea can emerge as one of the world's top three in AI robotics and the global leader in physical AI."
